DTI Upgrades Its Relativity Platform

published on December 13, 2011

ATLANTA, GA – December 13, 2011 – Document Technologies, Inc. (DTI), the nation’s largest private independent provider of legal discovery solutions and facilities management, announced today its recent upgrade of kCura’s Relativity, a web-based e-discovery platform for document review, analysis, and production. The upgrade from Relativity 6.10 to 7.2 reflects DTI’s commitment to staying current with new version releases from its technology partners to ensure clients have access to the best available products.

With Relativity 7.2, DTI will leverage the capabilities of Relativity Assisted Review, which enable reviewers to teach Relativity what is or is not a responsive or non-responsive document. Relativity 7.2 continues to allow users to organize and analyze case details to identify strengths and weaknesses in litigation strategy.

DTI is also leveraging new features in Relativity 7.2 to simplify end users’ reviews. A persistent highlight tree provides instant context about a document by displaying all keyword hits in that document. A “Copy from Previous” button increases doc-to-doc speed, native file viewing has been improved to better render PDFs and emails, and intuitive email threading provides a clear visual indication of replies and forwards.

DTI is among kCura’s leading service provider partners, having offered professional services support with Relativity for document review for three years.

DTI delivers superior processes, tools, and capacities for all aspects of electronic discovery, from forensic data acquisition to advanced file processing and data conversion to hosted document review. By partnering with companies like kCura, DTI offers clients a comprehensive suite of industry-leading technology, thereby ensuring the right solution for each project.
